Croatia's roads and highways are well connected,

By car you can arrive in Split from Zagreb,
through Karlovac, Knin, and Sinj; or from the direction of
Rijeka, through Zadar and Sibenik. From Split to Vis, you

catamaran from Split, and of last year, as well as directly
from Italy, from Ancone's ferry system <SEM marine>
(and from Pescare or Giulianove) catamaran system <SNAV>
(catamaran <Aldebaran>).
JADROLINIJA
- Travel tickets for passengers and automobiles can be purchased
in Split, in the building for the ferry terminal or even better,
in two news-stands before entering the ferry port. In Vis,
tickets can be bought in the Jadrolinija agency in Vis one
hour before the departure of every ferry. For local ferry
lines it is not possible to reserve tickets for passengers
and automobiles, it is recommended to arrive for boarding
at least one hour before departure time.
 SEM
MARINA - Catamarans (<For> or <Komiza>)
depart from Split in front of the port authorities, and in
Vis, from the ferry port. Travel tickets in Split must be
purchased before departure in the news-stand called SEM, upon
entry into the ferry port in Split. Before departure in Vis,
travel tickets for the catamaran are purchased on the catamaran.
Travel time in the catamaran from Split to Vis lasts one hour
and thirty minutes.
